Jenna Camille Ground After a string of one-off projects and wax-only releases, Washington, D. As a whole, Vol. The Lost Tape Vol.
The purpose of the project was to be limitless and to make something with his friends. The end result shows that one can really collaborate with all of the homies, and create something amazing, crazy, and worth the process.

On Bandcamp Radio. Yes great track. Herbie Flowers the bassist, played with Bowie a lot during this period. He also played on Transformer and Walk on the Wild Side. He was at a wedding I was at a few years back — really nice guy!
With Iggy Pop Drink to me Iggy pop sessions Moving on and turn blue Iggy Pop sessions and acoustic demo from aborted- Bowie penned this when Iggy was out of the studio.
Many songs have been rescued for further work, singles, others only played live, others are unfinished projects and even re-titled for other jobs and many have appeared on the Ryko reissues thank goodness , but many have Bowie his power and we are all waiting when will disclose some day. Amazing knowledge of bowie, your not Kevin Cann are you, I bet you have all these in your vault, thanks for all the info, love on ya!
And where can one find any of those other titles of those lost racks you mentioned? I know some mentioned are already on the remastered releases of the earlier Bowie albums; but what about the ones that were never officially released? This is a great list. Bowie is God! I love that Bowie has been doing deluxe editions for several years now.
I really want him to do the Berlin trilogy. Hi Steve — thanks for all your comments! Much appreciated — glad you like the blog. I reckon we will get either a 40th Anniversary Ziggy Stardust or Hunky Dory next… but a Berlin trilogy would be interesting…. Hi Paul, thanks for your comments. The other track you mention sounds very interesting!
There are two tracks that are absolute gems which have either never been released, or, missing since the Ryko reissues. One is the single version of Memory of a free festival which is far better than the album version, and was the first track ever cut with Mick Ronson. The other track which has never been officially released is Miss Peculiar aka How lucky you are There are a couple of different versions of this song, the versions on YouTube are quite sedate, but there is a massive John Barry type arrangement which is astonishing.
Big blasting horn sections and changing time signatures. Incidentally, a CD release as well of Baal will be a good idea: do people understand the problems of sound quality because of compression when buying digital immaterial music?
It would work well with a decent super deluxe of Diamond Dogs…. Good list- agree with most of it. The demo of Quicksand was epic- fraught, intense and used to make my dog howl uncontrollably.

Belief Belief Through all of my life I waver back and forth between a belief and not believing in anything, in any solid shape the unfettered mind, a deeper understanding that holds nothing that lets sounds come in the ear and just pass through without deciding what it was, if it was a jet or a dragon.
It was merely a sound without a name or a picture. It was every possible thing at once. So imagine what it was like to watch up close a loved one die and then look into the pit. I lived on the edge of it and had to stay there. That we go on, the world always goes on, breaking us with its changes until our form, exhausted, runs true.
I saw what looked like a god who walks among us. I met her. We fell so in love. I want to wade out into dark water hand in hand with you.
Standing coat half on between marble columns I sneeze into the wind. When I walk out of the museum I have centuries of dust behind my eyes. I see a tipped over garbage can blowing in the street. When I walk out of the museum I think about a snorkeler surfacing tangled in kelp.
That is me: writhing, wild attention, glancing around. The huge museum door slams behind me and I flinch. In all of these brief flashes of momentary clarity, the emptiness that cuts through is like a bowl beneath the sky empty, not yet pregnant, fertile, without form. It terrifies me, the raw possibility. I want to go back inside but when I walk out of the museum everything I see seems rippling and alive, on a freezing January day, everything: the museum the garbage the internet the constellations all collapse into a heap.
Light floods out from this compost pile. Enduring The Waves This life upends me again and again. This churning life of avalanches, it spins. Each night now my mind in the dark brings it all roaring back. Each day plummets into night, now my mind in the dark. That you could not bear me and the wind that came in through the door. Retrieved 1 May Retrieved 20 October Retrieved 23 March Archived from the original on 7 March A long overdue reissue of Jason And The Scorchers debut mini album and long player.
Fronted by Jason Ringenberg the Scorchers trail blazed the new country music scene of the 's. Blistering covers of Bob Dylan's "Absolutely Sweet Marie" and Leon Payne's "Lost Highway" stand along originals that like the aforementioned tracks sound as if they have been around since the birth of popular music.
It amazes me still when i mention Jason And The Scorchers to so called fans of the country genre a blank expression decends apon their faces, then they waffle on about the likes of Gram Parsons and Ryan Adams. The first famous for being dead and being sanitised and diluted by The Eagles and the second well that's still a bloody mystery to me.
Let's get back to the point here If you are not yet aquainted with these two gems from the past you are in for a rare treat and if you are just a fan looking for a nostalgia trip you have every right to feel smug that you knew all along that this was the greastest country band that ever rocked.
Especially as it is doubled up with Fervour. So many stand out tracks. Cant wait to see them live later this year. Just hope they have aged well! Report abuse. I just like to add a bit onto the package that you get. You get the ep Fervor and the album Lost and Found. Both on one cd and it is in an LP style picture case one sleeve for each release.
The bass comes through very well and the guitars are just right. Does sound way more rock than country but hey that is what its like now. It still sounds as fresh today, and that is not always the case with "old favourites" The mixture of rock, punk and Americana still Works.
